An introduction to the video strategy process
A quick case study - Ramblers Scotland.
After working previously with Ramblers Scotland on a campaign around wild camping, we were given the goal of reaching a 200k target audience reach with this latest project. Based on our audience analysis, we developed a series of comedic scripts and secured local comedy talent to deliver a series of 3x1min 9:16 films. We formed a marketing strategy which included paid social media promotion across TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat, running over a five month period from April to August in vertical ad placements including TikTok in-feed ads, Insta stories, and Snapchat video ads. We eclipsed our 200k target with 4.3m target audience impressions, the project winning Gold at the EVCOM London Film Awards in the Best Use of a Smaller Budget category, and nominated for Excellence in Marketing at the Edinburgh Business Awards.
